As of the 1st of January 2017, the company operates under the name PARRY AUDIO Studio & Mobile Recording. Founded in 1987 by Eberhard Schnellen as ES-DUR Tonstudio and taken over in 2014 by Karola Parry, long-term employee and qualified sound engineer. PARRY AUDIO is situated in the heart of Hamburg-Ottensen.
The studio specialises in the production of classical music and audio books as well as mastering and remastering. The range of services have been expanded to include video production. Projects are handled by qualified sound engineers throughout their entire cycle, from organisational preparations, selection of suitable recording room, competent musical and aesthetic support and high-quality technical recording right through to post production.

Karola Parry completed her degree in sound engineering (Diplom-Tonmeister) at the Berlin Hochschule der Künste (University of Art). After graduating in 1990, she worked as a freelancer for classical music for public radio stations: Radio Bremen, Hessischer Rundfunk and Rias Berlin. Today, she still freelances as a recording producer for nationwide public radio station Deutschlandfunk and DeutschlandfunkKultur.
Since 1991 she has worked as a freelance balance engineer and recording producer on CD productions and radio productions in the areas of chamber music, orchestral music, audio books and mastering at ES-DUR.
1996 - 1999 Freelance lecturer at the SAE Hamburg and freelance broadcast audio engineer at Schwartzkopff TV for talkshows
2003 - 2009 Freelance balnce engineer for music productions at NDR Hamburg (North German Public Radio), work at NDR Rolf-Liebermann-Studio, OB-Van 40 and 41
2010 - 2013 Basic certificate in Culture and Media Management from the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre
She co-founded C2 Hamburg Musik & Medienproduktion with the labels ES-DUR and Charade in 2011 together with Udo Potratz. At the end of 2016 she left C2 Hamburg.
Today, Karola Parry has overseen more than 200 CD productions in the area of classical music and more than 100 audio book productions in her roles as a producer, balance engineer and recording engineer.
She has received the following awards for CD productions:

is a certified sound engineer for audiovisual media. He completed his studies at the HFF Potsdam-Babelsberg. As a sound engineer and recording producer, he has also produced CDs and recordings with artists such as the Staatskapelle Weimar, the RIAS Kammerchor, the Dresden Baroque Orchestra and Chamber Choir, Ensemble Resonanz and other artists from jazz, rock and pop.
Michael Jaeckel was awarded the Tonmeister Prize from the Association of German Tonmeisters.
Since 2008, Jaeckel is a lecturer at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences for audio engineering and media engineering. He lives with his wife and two children near Lüneburg.
After the transfer of the studio in 2013 he continued to work as a freelance balance engineer for music and word productions. He has been in his well-deserved retirement since 2021.
Felix lives in Berlin and is a freelance recording producer and sound engineer, since 2021 also for PARRY AUDIO, among others.
